How does remote assistance work?
With remote assistance, Triggs CC will give you a call, and then direct you to download the plugin available on the left. Then you will provide us with the code the program generates. We enter that code into our program which then asks for a password giving us access to your computer's mouse and keyboard.
What are some of the advantages of remote assistance?
The main advantage is convenience. With remote assistance, we can connect to your computer and see everything that you can. This way you can explain to us what problems you're having, and we can help figure them out. Another advantage is security--the remote connections are 100% secure and prevent any unauthorized access from occuring after the initial session.
Can TriggsCC connect to my computer even if I'm not at home?
If you have your computer with you and you have a working internet connection, TriggsCC can use remote assistance to connect to your computer. This is good if you're on a business trip or on vacation and having computer problems.
Can TriggsCC connect to my computer whenever they want?
With the software that is used to connect to customer's computers, the owner would have to initiate the remote connection. TriggsCC can only connect to your computer if you setup the session initially.
Is the remote assistance secure?
The remote assistance software that is used has secure data channels with key exchange and AES (256-bit) session encoding, which is the same security standard used by https/SSL browsing.
Can TriggsCC connect to more than one computer at a time?
We have the abililty to connect to multiple computers at one time to help diagnose and solve your problems.
Does TriggsCC have full access to my computer and files?
TriggsCC will have full access to your computer and files; however, TriggsCC does not intend on viewing any files without the permission of the owner. Each session is also covered over the phone, so TriggsCC will not open anything without permission. Keep in mind we only have access to your computer when you initiate the session.
