1. Project Planning

The first step in the web design process is to make sure we have the information we need to develop and design a website you can be happy and proud of. This step involves filling out a simple questionnaire and a meeting or two. The more information we can gather, the more you will get out of your website. We setup a project timeline and discuss the client expectations and intial specs of the website.

2. Structure

The second step involves discussion on the site foundation and functionality. Here we discuss what features the client needs as well as the different pages, menus, and page layouts that will be presented in each section of the website.

3. Design

The third step is where the design takes place. This is where the client can choose a site design such as colors, logos, etc. This process could involve many steps, depending on the amount of customization that is needed for each draft based on client feedback.

4. Development

The fourth step is where the site begins to take shape. During this phase we begin building and integrating the requested features within the website. This is the meat of the design process that takes the most time, so we are careful to confirm that the site content and specs are correct. At this stage we also evaluate the project timeline to ensure we are going to meet our deadline.

6. Launch

The sixth and final step of this process is the site launch. We move the site to it's final destination from our development servers, and make sure it is hosted properly. At this stage we generally setup the site analytics and make sure that vistors are being tracked. We also discuss the maintenance plan for the website which involves making sure the website stays up-to-date and secure.
